Public AI Training Files
Public AI Training Files are documents that describe your business in a way you’re happy to share. Acqui uses them as context when the AI drafts replies, writes content, or answers questions on channels that your customers can see — for example, public chat, email replies, and quote descriptions.
Open the list from Settings → Public AI Training Files.
When to use public files
Section titled “When to use public files”Use public files for anything you’d be comfortable putting on your website:
- Brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Service and product descriptions
- Standard FAQs
- Pricing sheets and published policies
- Opening hours, locations, and contact details
If the content is customer-specific, commercially sensitive, or internal-only, use Private AI Training Files instead.

- Pick the file from your computer. Supported formats:
.pdf,.doc,.docx,.txt,.xls,.xlsx,.csv. - Wait for the upload to finish — the button shows Saving Document while it uploads.

Editing a file
Section titled “Editing a file”Click a row to open the file drawer. From there you can update:
- Name — a short label shown in the list.
- Summary — a one or two line description of what’s in the file. A good summary helps the AI pick the right file when answering.

Statuses
Section titled “Statuses”Each row shows a status — for example, Uploaded when the file has been added, and Processed once Acqui has read it and it’s available to the AI. Processing usually takes a few moments.
Removing a file
Section titled “Removing a file”Open the file and use the remove action in the drawer to take it out of the AI’s context. The original document is also removed.
