Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first screen you land on after signing in. It summarises how your business is tracking across sales, work, POS, and finance for the period you pick, and lets you jump straight into the area that needs attention.
The date range
Section titled “The date range”Two tab strips at the top of the page control the date range — one for the KPI tiles and one for the trend charts below. Both offer the same options:
- 6 Months (the default)
- 3 Months
- 30 Days
- 7 Days
- 24 Hours
Changing the range updates the figures and the trend below it. You can set the two ranges independently — handy if you want the tiles on a six-month view but the charts zoomed in to the last 30 days.
The chip on the right of the top bar shows your default currency. If it isn’t set yet, the chip turns red with a warning icon — open your Company Profile to set it so totals are calculated consistently.
KPI tiles
Section titled “KPI tiles”Up to eight tiles run across the top of the page. Each tile shows a single headline number for the selected range, a short label, an icon, and a trend chip in the corner that compares the current range to the one before it. Green means up, amber means flat, red means down.
The tiles available are:
- Estimates — estimates created in the range.
- Quotes — quotes created in the range.
- Jobs — jobs opened in the range.
- Invoices — invoices raised in the range.
- Purchase Orders — purchase orders placed with suppliers.
- Cashbook — cash movements recorded in the cashbook.
- POS Sales — sales taken on Acqui POS.
- Pipeline — opportunities in your sales pipeline.
Choosing which tiles to show
Section titled “Choosing which tiles to show”Tap the chart icon above the tiles to pick which ones appear. Your choices are saved to the browser so they stay the same the next time you sign in on that device. You can hide tiles you don’t use to keep the view focused on what matters.
Trend charts
Section titled “Trend charts”Below the tiles is a larger panel of trend tiles covering the same eight areas — Estimates, Quotes, Jobs, Invoices, Purchase Orders, Cashbook, POS Sales, and Pipeline.
Each trend tile shows:
- A short title.
- The total for the selected range.
- A trend chip comparing it to the previous range.
Tap any trend tile to load its chart in the graph below — the selected tile highlights, and the graph redraws to show movement over the range. The line colour turns green when the trend is up and red when it is down.
The same chart icon next to the range tabs lets you hide or show trend tiles, and remembers your selection per device.
Using the dashboard
Section titled “Using the dashboard”A typical morning check-in looks like this:
- Glance at the KPI tiles to see where the business is up or down against the previous period.
- If something stands out, tap the matching trend tile to see the shape of the movement — for example, whether a drop in invoices happened gradually or all in the last week.
- If you want more detail, jump into the relevant section from the left-hand menu (for example, Sales → Invoices or POS → Point of Sale).
- If tiles show placeholder shapes, the dashboard is still loading — the data appears as soon as it’s ready.
- Setting your default currency is important for the cashbook, invoice, and POS totals to add up correctly. The red warning chip stays visible until it’s set.
- Tile and trend selections are per device, so you can have a simpler view on a phone and a fuller view on a desktop.
