Schedules

Schedules let you save the current state of a supported data grid and receive it as a report in your inbox on a recurring schedule. The report is generated from live data each time it runs.

When you create a schedule from a supported data grid, Acqui saves your current view — including visible columns, active filters, and sort order — and runs it automatically at the frequency you choose. Each run sends an HTML email with up to 25 matching rows to your registered email address.

If no rows match your saved filters at send time, the email states that no matching data was found. If more than 25 rows match, the email notes that additional results are available in the app.

The schedule action appears beside the download button in supported data grids.

  1. Set up the data grid as you want the report to look — apply filters, choose visible columns, and set the sort order.
  2. Select the Schedule button beside the download action.
  3. Choose your frequency, time, and timezone.
  4. Save the schedule.

The schedule runs against live data at each send time. It does not capture a snapshot of the data at creation time.

FrequencyWhat you configure
DailyHour of day
WeeklyDay of week and hour
MonthlyDay of month and hour

For monthly schedules, you can choose any date from the 1st to the 28th, or Last day to run on the final day of each month. Dates 29, 30, and 31 are not available to avoid unpredictable behavior in shorter months.

Time selection is hour-level only. Minute-level scheduling is not supported.

Schedules use your profile timezone by default. You can view and update your timezone from your profile settings.

Each schedule stores its own timezone at the time it is created. If you later change your profile timezone, existing schedules keep their saved timezone. New schedules pick up the updated default.

Scheduling has its own permission separate from viewing a program. If you have access to a program but cannot see the schedule button, your administrator may need to grant you scheduling access for that program.

If the schedule button is disabled, contact your administrator to check your permissions.

The Schedules list under Work shows all your saved report schedules. For each schedule you can see:

  • the program and view it targets,
  • the frequency and next scheduled run,
  • the last run time and status.

One schedule per data grid view is supported per user. To change the frequency, filters, or columns for an existing schedule, open the schedule from the Schedules list and update it.

To stop a schedule, deactivate or delete it from the Schedules list.
